#23 Yuta Tabuse
A 5 feet and 9 inches tall Japanese basketball player, Yuta Tabuse, scripted NBA history with two significant things that are far from the game’s skills.
He is not only one of the shortest players to play in the NBA but also the only Japanese-born to do so!
Called the “Michael Jordan of Japan”, he has earned laurels in the sport from his high-school days.
After he left the Toyota Alvark, he was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks for whom he played 6 straight games in the NBA Summer League of 2003.
In one of his career highlights, he was inducted into the 22-man roster for the Japan National Basketball Team in 2009.
