He is remembered for his stunning display of strength and skill at the 1986 Slam Dunk contest, becoming the first-ever player under 6feet to take home the trophy.

Even though this trophy was the standout highlight of his career, Spud made a reappearance in 1986 to help Nate Robinson win his first Slam Dunk championship.
