#4 Milk and Other Dairy Goods
Contrary to popular belief, cats are lactose intolerant. Feeding an adult cat milk or other dairy products can seriously jeopardise her health, putting her into a state of physical trauma and nausea.
Once a kitten has been weaned, the internal stomach lining called lactase starts thinning. And in adulthood the lining disappears completely, making it almost impossible for cats to digest milk and other related products.
So, the next time you feel the urge to stuff your kitty with a plate of milk, please do not persist.
