#23 Apple Seeds
Apples are a safe fruit for cats as long as you know which part to feed them. Before feeding an apple to your cat, make sure that you have removed its seeds. The shell of the apple seeds contains amygdalin – a chemical compound that releases cyanide, thus leading to cyanide poisoning.
Hence, you must remove the core of the apple (which contains the apple seeds) before feeding it to your cat. That way you can ensure that your cat doesn’t succumb to accidental cyanide poisoning.
